We solved it from the other side. The size comes from how it's built, not from what you have to do without.

Your cards sit tightly stacked in an aluminium case instead of separate leather slots. So it's your stack that sets the thickness, not the number of slots the manufacturer decided to add. An empty leather wallet is still thick; this one isn't.
